James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to announce that the firm is celebrating its 50th Anniversary by giving back to a nonprofit organization within their community. The celebration provides an exciting opportunity to honor the firm’s founder – James Moore, and to recognize the accomplishments of the firm’s first half century.
Providing excellent service has always been a tenet of company culture at James Moore, whose founder Mr. Moore was quoted saying, “Service is the sole purpose of our existence”. Mr. Moore also understood that happy and committed employees would build a healthier organization with improved client focus. With these insights, he created an amazing place to work, a place where people were engaged deeply in what they did and what they achieved. Mr. Moore created a place where people collaborated to transform the firm into what it is today- a leading organization, with offices located in Tallahassee, Daytona Beach, and Gainesville.
As he was a wheelchair user, Mr. Moore also promoted continued physical independence for himself and others with disabilities. No matter what physical challenges he faced during his lifetime, he always demonstrated a clear determination in continuing to improve himself and the community in which he lived. As part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, the firm has chosen to honor their founder and celebrate his determination by selecting a local nonprofit organization whose mission is focused on ensuring the commitment towards independence for persons with physical disabilities.
James Moore’s Tallahassee office is focused on providing support for the Access to Independence Program facilitated by Ability 1st, the Center for Independent Living of North Florida. Ability 1st provides services such as housing placement, counseling, education and assistance with entitlement benefits to persons with varying disabilities. Their Access to Independence program targets individuals living with a temporary or permanent physical disability, and James Moore’s Tallahassee office will be focused on supporting a component of this program that provides disposable medical supplies.
