If you have attempted to look up Goodwood on the internet and instead found photos of race cars, then you may have accidentally discovered Goodwood… in England. Tim & Nancy Tankersley were interested in learning about Goodwood Museum & Gardens’ possible namesake. When they took a trip to England, they toured the historic Goodwood estate.
Goodwood’s Friday Lecture Series will resume on September 6th with a talk by Tim & Nancy Tankersley about England’s Goodwood. Join us to learn about Goodwood from 1697 to 2019 and what the 11 Dukes of Richmond have accomplished in this time.
This free program will be held at Goodwood Museum &Gardens in Jubilee Cottage on September 6th at Noon. Feel free to bring your lunch or get takeout from the Rev Cafe.
