Movie Nights at the Museum: National Treasure

The Historic Capitol Museum invites fans of all ages to join us this fall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Disney World on October 1, 2021, with a series of magical Movie Nights under the stars enjoying classic Disney films. The series kick-off features National Treasure (2004; PG). Follow treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates as he delves into the past to solve a mystery in the present. Historic sites, figures, and legends—even a familiar foundational document–provide the path to a treasure
of mythical proportions.
Bring your favorite lawn chairs or blanket for seating in the Capitol Courtyard and picnic dinners are welcome. The movie and snacks are free! The movie will begin at sundown (approximately 8:00 p.m.), but arrive early to set up your spot and visit the Museum’s exhibits after-hours.
Be sure to RSVP as Going in the Facebook event at https://bit.ly/treasuremovienight so that you receive all the latest event updates including weather delays.
This free program is made possible by sponsors Disney, Tallahassee Downtown, Florida TaxWatch, and Dr. Ed H. Moore and Kathleen Moore.
