Jeff Klinkenberg's "Most Interesting Floridians"

Join the Florida Humanities Council and the Florida Historic Capitol Museum on April 11 for a talk and book signing with Jeff Klinkenberg, this year’s winner of the Florida Humanities Council’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing and a 2018 Florida Folk Heritage Award. His topic: “The Most Interesting Floridians I Have Known” – and there are many, such as Marjory Stoneman Douglas, known as The Grand Dame of the Everglades. Jeff began experiencing Florida at an early age, learning its lore and meeting its characters. His journalism career spanned nearly four decades, and he has published six books.
Reception at 5:30 PM; talk will begin at 6:00 PM with the book signing to immediately follow.
