Growing a Healthy Family

Take a step into the world of gardening, health, and nutrition for the whole family. Learn together about community gardening, how to grow your own produce, tips for preparing nutritious meals that excite the entire family, and explore the connection between what we eat and our overall well-being. In this four-week series, instructors will present on topics about the basics of planting and maintaining a backyard garden to promote healthy eating and nutrition.
You’ll take home nutritious recipes for the whole family and your own planter box. From chef’s demos to hands-on learning in the community wellness garden, this class will help your family take another step to a healthy lifestyle.
This 4-week series will begin on Sunday, October 6th from 2-4 PM and continue on Sundays through October. The full 4-week class will cost $25 per family. If you’d only like to attend one class, classes are $7 each. Registration is required to ensure we have enough materials for everyone.
