TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Clarity Pointe™ Tallahassee, a memory care assisted living community located at 1060 Clarity Pointe Drive in Tallahassee, will host free educational events for caregivers of loved ones with memory loss. “Memory Loss & Dementia” will take place on Thursday, April 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. “Advance Directives, Capacity & Exploitation” will be held on Wednesday, April 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. Dinner will be served at each event.
Clarity Pointe™ Tallahassee connects caregivers of loved ones with memory loss to the greatest local resources for education and support. This April, caregivers are invited to our community to build upon their understanding of memory loss and dementia, as well as learn how to address legal concerns they may encounter on their caregiving journey.
“Memory Loss & Dementia” on April 12 will be presented by Dr. Siddharth Sehgal, Memory Disorder Clinic Coordinator at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
“Advance Directives, Capacity & Exploitation” on April 25 will be presented by Victoria E. Heuler, BCS,
Board-Certified Specialist in Elder Law, and Mary L. Wakeman, Board-Certified Appellate Lawyer, from Heuler-Wakeman Law Group, PL.
For guests’ convenience, complimentary respite care will be available for loved ones during these events. Guests must register their loved ones in advance to receive this service.
