The movement to “Ban the Box” and prohibit employers from inquiring about a job applicant’s criminal history on employment applications continues to grow. This session will review the recent legal developments that will increase scrutiny of employers’ criminal background check policies and suggest strategies for dealing with these new constraints on the use of background checks.
