In January 2021, the Tallahassee Chamber launched The Community Scorecard as a data-driven approach to measure our progress in the Tallahassee-Leon County area. This monthly report focuses on twelve key factors that have demonstrated proof in driving regional economies and success in other communities including jobs, industry diversification, poverty and crime rates, kindergarten readiness, third-grade reading scores, and post-secondary attainment rate.
On this episode of the Tallahassee Business Podcast presented by The Health Network, we are joined by the Florida Chamber Foundation’s Director of Research Dave Sobush, CEcD, who is the expert behind the statewide Scorecard – the model which ours follows. Dave shares the importance of the data as well as key trends and the factors critical for a vibrant community.
