Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank is the November recipient of Community Co+op Market’s “Change for the Community” round-up at the register program. Community Co+op Market’s customers will have the option to round up their purchase price at the register, and also for online purchases, throughout November.
“Second Harvest is always a winner with our customers, and we hope for a very healthy donation to the food bank by the end of November,” said Diane Bass with Community Co+op.
“We are honored to be selected as the Community Co+op’s November Change for the Community recipient,” said Shari Hubbard, Director of Communications for Second Harvest. “The Change for the Community program is a perfect opportunity for customers to give a little, and collectively make a huge impact to help their neighbors experiencing food insecurity this holiday season.”
