Coldwell Banker Hartung Realtor Lisa Carey Elected to Local NSDAR Executive Board

Tallahassee Realtor Lisa Carey was recently elected to serve a two-year term as the Corresponding Secretary of the Fort San Luis Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. This will be her second term in the executive board position. Lisa will serve as the newsletter editor and publisher, maintain customer relationship management (CRM) technology, publish the annual yearbook, and handle correspondence and media requests on behalf of the chapter.

During her last term of office, Lisa produced an award winning publication for her DAR chapter. The Fort San Luis Chapter newsletter series was named “Best in State” among all Florida Chapters. Lisa is also a board member of the Tallahassee Trust for Historic Preservation, a member of the Tallahassee Historical Society, and a residential Realtor with Coldwell Banker Hartung.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a women’s service organization whose members can trace their lineage to an individual who contributed to securing American independence during the Revolutionary War. Today’s DAR is dynamic and diverse, with over 185,000 members in 3,000 chapters in the United States and abroad. DAR chapters participate in projects to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Over one million members have joined the organization since its founding in 1890.
