Today, the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce held its annual 2011 Small Business Excellence Awards luncheon recognizing small businesses and organizations in the Tallahassee community for their outstanding achievements and contributions. An annual event in its 26th year, the awards were presented by the Tallahassee Democrat and sponsored by Capital City Bank and CenturyLink.
“Small businesses are major contributors to the strength of our economy, and this is an opportunity for us to thank them for creating jobs and providing the products and services that our community needs” said Todd Sperry, Chairman of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
Entries for the Small Business Excellence Awards were welcomed through an open call for nominations, followed by an extensive application process with winners chosen by an esteemed selection committee. More than 300 individuals attended the annual event, held at the University Center Club, where the winners were announced in each of the eight categories.
Thank you to the Tallahassee Chamber! This award will help propel my business to the next level. I appreciate everything the Chamber does to help build and sustain small businesses like Crump & Associates.
