The role of a CDFA® is to help both client and lawyer understand how the financial decisions made today will impact the client’s financial future. A CDFA® can also help divorcing spouses formulate a realistic post-divorce financial plan by working with clients to determine how to maintain their current lifestyle or build toward future financial goals.
