The Capital Medical Society Foundation Holiday Auction raises critical funds to advance their mission: To support the charitable efforts of physicians and others, increase access to healthcare, promote education and serve the community’s health needs through innovative projects that are exemplary, affordable and dignified.
How They Make It Happen:
- We Care Network – For 34 years, this program has coordinated donated specialty medical and dental care for low-income, uninsured adults in Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor and Wakulla Counties — leveraging over $145 million in donated care since the program’s inception in 1992.
- Scholarships – Supporting deserving FSU College of Medicine students.
- Food Pantry – Ensuring local medical students have access to nutritious food.
- Physician Wellness Program & Coaching – Promoting health and resilience among local physicians.
