Meet the muralists creating The Stacks, Tallahassee’s newest landmark public arts destination. Hear their stories, learn the vision, and be part of the community conversation shaping Tallahassee at this FREE event May 12 starting at 6 p.m. The Stacks is the site of Leon County’s largest outdoor public mural system. Come out to learn about The Stacks, a new collection of murals being painted by amazing professional mural artists. The 2026 KCCI Community Catalyst team is showcasing the spirit of Tallahassee through creativity and collaboration using placemaking tools. This project is a collaboration between nonprofit, private partners and the CRA. Seven muralists were selected to paint The Stacks with their own unique, artistic designs. Come to the Meet the Artist Event on May 12 from 6pm-8pm to learn about the artists’ vision behind the mural designs.
