The American Heart Association’s Big Bend Heart Walk will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. at Cascades Park. The Big Bend Heart Walk is more than a walk — it’s a movement to build a community of lifesavers. 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital don’t survive, most often because no one nearby knew CPR.
