What: Community Festival and 5K/Family Fun Walk

Kids in Motion is a community festival that promotes physical wellness for children and their families in our community. The event will be an example of JLT’s mission in action as we support and encourage the families of Tallahassee to live a life of physical wellbeing.
Children of all ages will have the opportunity to get involved with various physical activities and be entertained by community groups that enjoy being in motion with activities such as aerobics, martial arts, dancing, basketball, cheerleading and much more. During the event parents will also gain valuable tips on improving the mental, dental and physical wellness of their children and families.
In addition to the Community Festival, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the community will also have an opportunity to take part in a 5K or Family Fun Walk. Through fundraising opportunities like Kids in Motion, the JLT can continue to support local families and children.
