TALLAHASSEE, FL – Stearns Weaver Miller announced that Shareholder Brooke Humphrey has joined the firm’s Tallahassee office. Brooke has over 20 years of experience in energy regulatory and permitting, administrative and environmental law. She has represented clients in proceedings before all levels of the Florida court system, the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, the Florida Public Service Commission, state agencies, and local governments.
Brooke has experience leading cross-functional teams of client representatives, lawyers, and consultants on complex regulatory, administrative, and litigation matters, including large-scale energy infrastructure projects. She is familiar with the intricacies of power plant and transmission line licensing and compliance. Additionally, her administrative, circuit court, and appellate litigation experience helps her to spot issues and, if necessary, prepare for litigation.

Brooke earned her J.D., with highest honors, from Florida State University College of Law. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Creighton University.
Her arrival follows several other Land Development, Zoning & Environmental additions within the past year, including Of Counsels Emily Pepin Bouza, Chad Davis, Michael Willson, and Director of Planning and Development Services Barry Wilcox.
