JRA Architects Celebrates 50 Years of Design Excellence — A Legacy of Landmarks in Tallahassee and Beyond

JRA Architects proudly announces the celebration of the firm’s 50th anniversary on October 30, 2025, marking five decades of architectural innovation, community engagement and design leadership in Florida and
beyond. Founded in 1975, by Jim Roberson in Tallahassee, JRA Architects has grown into a multi-office design practice with a track record that spans civic, educational, healthcare, and commercial architecture. “We’ve never tried to fit a project into a specific style or to win an award. We’ve always just tried to make the solution economical, fit the client’s budget…. keep the water out, make it last, make it durable, and make it perform its function.” says Roberson. “It’s been a great ride. Fifty Years.”
