This National Book Month, we’re celebrating by sharing the joy of stories with our community’s youngest readers. Join us for Thanks for Reading, a special event where volunteers spend 30 minutes reading with children ages 0–3 at one of our four locations. Just a short time together can spark imagination, create connections and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Sign up today and help make story time unforgettable! What: Volunteers spend 20-30 minutes reading and interacting with children at one of our Kids Incorporated centers. We ask them to bring an age-appropriate book to donate after reading.
When: Monday, Oct. 6 – Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Where: With four locations to choose from, we’re close to home: two in Tallahassee, one in Madison County, and one in Monticello.
