In this model, your OB/GYN is talking to your Mental Health Therapist, your Midwife is collaborating with your Dietician—all to ensure your care is as comprehensive and individualized as you are.
At the helm of the Tallahassee team is Dr. Shawn Ramsey, a board-certified OB/GYN and Medical Director with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ramsey completed his residency at Henry Ford Health System and has since specialized in advanced robotic surgery, infertility, pelvic pain, endometriosis management, and pelvic reconstructive surgery using advanced processes such as the Da Vinci robotics method.
Dr. Ramsey is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centered care that blends the best of innovation with true compassion. “I believe we can enhance the lives of our patients by combining balanced healthcare with forward-thinking treatments,” he shares. His approach embodies the very mission of Diana Health: to move women’s healthcare forward by listening more, collaborating better, and caring deeper.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Ramsey is deeply involved in the local community. He coaches youth sports and actively supports the development of young athletes—a reflection of his commitment to nurturing growth both inside and outside the clinic.
