The ProfessioNole Clothing Closet is seeking donations from the FSU community and beyond during the 4th Annual Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive, March 1st – April 1st. Clean out your closets and help a student put their best foot forward in their career. Items of greatest need include: Women’s suits, blazers, dress slacks, skirts, dresses, blouses biggest need in smaller sizes Men’s suits, blazers, dress pants, and shirts - biggest need in smaller sizes Like new dress shoes of any size Accessories that include ties, belts (men’s or women’s) Clothing should be considered business professional to business casual and in current fashion. Clothing donations should be clean with clearly labeled sizes and not damaged. Items deemed not appropriate for the Clothing Closet will be donated to another charity within the town. Please NO t-shirts, casual clothing, or items that are not wearable in professional settings. I think it’s important for business owners and managers in Tallahassee to really look at all of the new services the Chamber is providing that especially new businesses. The Business Advocacy Committee over the last few years has lead the charge on every major public policy issue the community has faced. With the BAC’s efforts, the business community is on the front end of discussions helping to lead direction and provide facts instead of waiting for things to happen.
