In collaboration with the John G. Riley Center & Museum, LeMoyne Arts will host a special exhibit celebrating local and Southern folk artists and their contributions to the visual arts experience in our community. This exhibition is a tribute to the enduring legacy of folk art as a universal form of expression. It celebrates the ingenuity, authenticity, and shared humanity that binds artists from all walks of life with works by renowned artists, such as O.L Samuels, Thornton Dial, Sr., and Mary Proctor, alongside some brilliant contemporary voices in outsider art. Join us Saturday, May 4 from 11:00am-12:30pm for live music, mimosas, and more! Sip on mimosas, locally-brewed craft beer by DEEP Brewing Co., or hot coffee by Argonaut Coffee, as well as freshly-baked treats from our friends at Uptown Cafe. Live music will be provided by acoustic string band, Elsinore Sewing Club!
Why I joined the Chamber
“As an active Chamber member and member of Leads Group 4, I have been able to significantly grow our brand in this area. The networking opportunities are endless - my favorite being the Professional Women's Forum. They always have dynamic speakers and have an excellent turnout. I definitely recommend businesses to not only join The Chamber but to get involved! Attend the events, join a Leads Group and take advantage of all the opportunities The Chamber provides. You won't regret it!”
