The Tallahassee Area Chapter of National Institute of Governmental Purchasing will be hosting a Reverse Trade Show on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. In a REVERSE TRADE SHOW, representatives from the purchasing offices of state and local government agencies and educational institutions staff the booths and are ready to meet and talk with vendors attending the event. In a matter of a couple of hours vendors can meet and talk with procurement staff of agencies that would take days or weeks to get to see otherwise! This is a great way for vendors to make new contacts and renew existing ones, too while discussing the gods and/or services they can offer to government agencies.
The Reverse Trade Show will be followed by a Networking Luncheon from 12:00PM to 1:30PM (included in the registration fee). Vendors can enjoy a buffet luncheon while networking with the purchasing professionals who are members of the Chapter. Vendors can take advantage of Early Bird Registration for $200 through March 15, 2012 and save $50 off the $250 regular registration fee.
