SunBlest Gardens will be hosting our third annual Fall Open House on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th from 9am until 2pm.The community is invited to visit the greenhouse to shop from a variety of tropicals, annuals, perennials, and of course our fall crop of Mums at wholesale prices! There will also be plenty of children’s activities including face painting, a scavenger hunt, and a petting zoo hosted by Redemptive Love Farm and Rescue. Local food trucks and vendors will be set up, offering food and refreshments for purchase. There will also be additional shopping opportunities showcasing local art, gifts, clothing, ceramics, and jewelry. For this event we are partnering with F.R.E.S.H. Back to School Outreach. We will be collecting school supplies for children in our community. Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies and those who donate will be entered into a raffle to win two plants! We highly recommend wearing your walking shoes; there are acres of plants to explore!
Why I joined the Chamber
“The Chamber is all about being given the opportunity to form relationships through networking. In Leads Groups, you spend quality time with other businesses, and often gain “Access” (another Chamber group focusing on younger members) to their connections as well. In Leadership Tallahassee, you gain a new family of business leaders, and are guaranteed exposure to something or some group you were not familiar with, while broadening your understanding of all things “Tallahassee”. With LT’s Building Better Boards, you get to spend an evening with a great, philanthropic/altruistic group who are learning to serve their nonprofits more effectively. With the Chamber Conference, you get to spend quality time off-site and in a more casual setting while learning more about our community. Is the Chamber helpful for your business? Absolutely – especially if you join, engage, and take advantage of the great programs they offer!”
