Read-To-Leads at Midtown Reader are an opportunity to hear community leaders talk about the books that formed them and shaped their thinking. Each Read-to-Lead is focused on a particular theme or subject. January’s Read-To-Lead is focused on Holocaust Remembrance and Education, and will feature Linda Davey, Education Coordinator for the Holocaust Education Research Council, and Dr. Monte Finklestein, former dean of the history department at TCC, as moderators. Panelists will talk about the books about the Holocaust that have been most formative/influential for them—why and how did the book have an impact on them, and in what ways has it spurred them to action? How have they seen it influence others? Come for an important and engaging discussion, and leave with some enlightening new reads!

Why I joined the Chamber
“Our membership in the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce results in weekly benefits. We attend Business Nuts and Bolts, Business After Hours, Lunch & Learn and many of the ribbon cuttings. These provide opportunities to meet and serve new and existing members which equates to increased profits. The chamber leadership team constantly provides top-notch educational and networking events which produce tangible results and every year the programming gets even better.”
