Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A., a professional accounting, assurance, and tax services firm headquartered in Tallahassee, congratulates Alyssa Roti, Kavisha McCranie, and Paola Blackburn on becoming CPAs. The last step taken in order to receive a CPA license is taking the Uniform CPA Examination. This is a national examination and consists of four sections. Florida requires accountants to pass all of the sections with a score of 75 percent or higher. Furthermore, to qualify for a license applicants must have at least one year of work experience, and the experience must be under the direct supervision of a licensed public accountant. Thomas Howell Ferguson is proud to be able to offer that opportunity to our upcoming CPAs.
Canita Gunter Peterson, Shareholder of Thomas Howell Ferguson, states, “Even through all the hard work of successfully completing the exams, these three young ladies always bring great energy to our firm. We are grateful to have such well-rounded assets, and THF looks forward to supporting them as they continue to build their careers in public accounting!”
