Big Bend SHRM will once again host “HR Tallahassee”, a daylong event providing Human Resource professionals, business owners and managers with information and education on topics important to businesses today and into the future. This year’s event will take place on June 10th, from 7:15 am to 4:30 pm, at The Center for Workplace Development at Tallahassee Community College.
This year’s keynote speakers will include Tony Moore, MS, SPHR and Jessica Stollings. Tony is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Eckerd in Clearwater, FL. Tony’s keynote address is titled: Leadership Secrets from the Wizard of Oz, and will focus on the core competency possessed by each character in the story and demonstrate its practical application to the HR professional who wants to positively impact their organization and become the kind of leader people follow by choice.
Jessica is a speaker, author and founder of ReGenerations, an organization dedicated to connecting generations. Often called a “generational translator”, her passion (besides coffee) is helping build understanding and communication between new college graduates joining the workforce and members of their parents’ and grandparents’ generations already in the office.
In addition to multiple educational opportunities, attendees will be able to network with Human Resources professionals, business owners and managers, as well as visit with vendors from various HR related fields.
