Tri-Eagle Sales Plants Trees on Earth Day for Beer Cases Sold

Purchase a Patagonia Beer and help support the Apalachicola and Ocala National Forest

Midway, FL — Patagonia Cerveza, originally from the Patagonia region in South America, has arrived in the North and North Central Florida areas. Anheuser-Busch distributor, Tri-Eagle Sales, started distributing the Patagonia flagship brand, Bohemian Pilsner, this April.

This Earth Day (April 22), Patagonia Cerveza and Tri-Eagle Sales will donate one tree to be planted in the Apalachicola National Forest and Ocala National Forest for each case of Patagonia Bohemian Pilsner sold.

The Patagonia “Plant a Tree” project brings awareness to Florida’s longleaf pine forests. Today, the species is only found on approximately 3 percent of its historic range. Working with the Forest Service, the National Forest Foundation and Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partners will plant 25,000 trees in Florida’s National Forests. Restoring longleaf pines provides a critical nesting and foraging habitat for the endangered red-cockaded woodpeckers, which are a keystone species since they create and maintain a habitat that other species depend on. The project is part of a broader multi-partner effort to restore longleaf pines in their historic range.

Tri-Eagle Sales team members will be planting trees on Earth Day in the Apalachicola National Forest and invites community members to join their efforts to support the program.
