Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the board of directors: Samantha Boge, Melanie R. Leitman and Daniel Petronio. The 14-member Second Harvest board provides leadership in helping Second Harvest carry out the food bank’s mission to feed hungry people in the Big Bend.
Boge is an attorney and owner of Boge Arbitration, and specializes in arbitration and mediation. She brings 44 years of professional litigation experience to the Second Harvest board. Her nonprofit management experience includes board positions with Ronald McDonald House of Tallahassee, Tallahassee Equality Action Ministry and Boys Choir of Tallahassee.
Leitman is an attorney in the Labor and Employment Administrative Law and Regulatory Compliance groups with Steans Weaver Miller. Her practice areas include labor and employment, litigation and administrative law. She serves on the Law School Liaison Committee for Labor Employment Law Section of The Florida Bar.
Petronio has worked for Capital City Bank for nine years, currently serving as a vice president in Corporate Banking. His financial expertise includes specialization in banking and lending to government and nonprofit organizations. He is a Florida State University Alumni.
