There are 10 zip codes in Leon County. Within those zip codes, we have more than 10,500 children living in poverty and nearly 82% of those of children fall within only five of our zip codes.
Prosperity Leon is a community initiative led by the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce to address areas of critical need in the community. The initial Prosperity Leon Impact Zone includes portions of the 32305 and 32310 zip codes and surrounding neighborhoods in Tallahassee’s Southside.
By addressing challenges in education, financial prosperity, and crime, and safety, the Chamber hopes to close equity gaps and implement promising practices to help create economic opportunity for all.
