Jim is a member Foley’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Appellate practice groups. He has appeared in more than 80 Florida appellate proceedings representing clients throughout all of Florida’s District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court and has represented clients before the United States Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining Foley, Jim served as deputy counselor to the Governor of Florida, advising the Governor on matters of law and policy. He also served as a deputy solicitor general in the Office of the Attorney General.
Jim succeeds Tom Maida who has served in this role in Tallahassee since 1998.
