Rick has built an innovative high-tech office park, an entire village-like shopping and residential center and a variety of entrepreneurial businesses ranging from hotel, skin care, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and threat detection security systems.
While accomplishing many business successes, Rick has focused on the community and the needs of the less fortunate. Rick was a driving force and major funder of an eco-system including The Kearney Center for homelessness, Westgate Community for transitional housing. Most recently adding The Dwellings, a 130-unit tiny house community – with community center, for addressing the needs of people with challenges which prevent them from living safe, healthy and independent lives.
