Wingate by Wyndham Sales Manager Position

The Wingate by Wyndham Hotel is looking for a self motivated and dynamic Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of sales management experience in all market segments. They must be able to prospect for new clients, make cold calls, conduct site tours, write and negotiate contracts, and other additional duties related to sales and marketing.

The Sales Manager must assist in the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the company’s expectations for top line revenue. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Assists in the development of annual sales goals
*Recommends and takes appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result area
*Continually prospects for new business
*Documents all sales calls and or client correspondences
*Meets budgeted sales and profit margins by soliciting, selling, and confirming business as required
*Develops data and recommends programs to meet clients’ needs
*Prepares proposals that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs
*Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new clients
*Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment weekly
*Contacts in-house customers to foster additional business, repeat bookings.
*Meets and exceeds customer expectations by ensuring department provides customer service and teamwork
*Coordinates with various departments the activities related to booked business
