TALLAHASSEE, December 27, 2015 – Westminster Oaks will celebrate the renaming of its Health Center in honor of a bequest by residents on Friday, January 8, at 10:30 a.m.
The new Bertrand Health Center will be named after Alma and Roger Bertrand. Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand moved to Westminster Oaks in March 2011. Shortly after, Alma moved into the Health Center. Because of the excellent care she received, the couple decided to include Westminster Oaks in their estate.
“We are proud of the new Bertrand Health Center name, because Alma and Roger Bertrand truly acknowledged the commitment of our dedicated team members to high-quality care, here at Westminster Oaks,” said Executive Director Don Wilson.
At the formal renaming ceremony, Roger Stevens, Chief Executive Officer of Westminster Communities of Florida, will discuss the significance of the Bertrand gift and its impact on Westminster Oaks. A reception will follow.
