Upcoming Annual Meeting To Highlight Past, Present and Future Chairmen

I wanted to first take this opportunity to thank all of those who helped make the 2012 Annual Chamber Conference a great success. It is always a pleasure to see so many of our members in one room with Tallahassee’s Business and Community leaders. As this fiscal year comes to an end, we are excited to kick off the next with our 2012 Annual Breakfast Meeting. I hope you can join us to celebrate all of the accomplishments from the past year.

We are thrilled to reveal this year’s winner of the 2012 Godfrey Smith – Past Chairman’s Award. This award honors an individual who has provided significant contributions to the business community before, during and after their tenure as Chairman of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.

This is always a great event to attend as you get to learn about all of the work the Chamber has been doing as well as see where we are heading. Current Chairman Bill Moor will discuss his recent tenure and the year in review, which will then be followed by the introduction of our incoming Chairman Winston Howell. Winston will present the new Board of Directors and describe his slate of initiatives for the upcoming fiscal year. You will also have the opportunity to hear from a surprise guest speaker; continue to follow us online and through social media to find out who this will be.

All of us here at the Chamber are excited to announce all the initiatives that we will be involved with next year as we continue to make Your Business, Our Business. Every year, the Chamber evaluates member needs and adapts programs and services to provide maximum return on investment and tangible benefits that help businesses become more successful.

The Annual Breakfast Meeting is a great opportunity to network with other members as well as business and community leaders.

The Chamber understands that business success and community success are tied together. Building stronger businesses makes the community better. I urge you to join us Tuesday October 2nd from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Tallahassee/Leon County Civic Center. Space is limited so register today. REGISTER HERE
