TCCTC Announces Spring 2017 Classes, January 10 “New and Renew” Event

For 25 years, Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center has provided cross-denominational Biblical education and perspective to all ages. This spring, TCCTC offers a wide variety of classes and seminars – equipping students to serve more effectively in ministry, service, business, their own congregations, and throughout the community. TCCTC offers college-level Bible study classes at the direction of experienced instructors, with 5 – 15 week classes allowing students to dive deeply into the Scriptures. Spring 2017 classes include History of the Development and Expansion of the Church with Jacklyn Wilson, MS, The Gifts of the Holy Spirit with Pastor Emory Collier, and Introduction to the New Testament with instructor favorite David Hull. Other Bible studies courses include The Epistle to the Hebrews and 1&2 Samuel, 1&2 Kings, and 1&2 Chronicles. Students can experience action-centered 8-15 week courses such as Introduction to Christian Counseling with Dr. Shelley Todd, Introduction to Healing Prayer with Andrew Miller LCSW, and Hebrew and Helps for the Computer Age with Dr. Harry Horne. These and all other courses are offered for college credit, professional CEUs, and personal growth. One or two day seminars appeal to those short on time, or those seeking a broader knowledge and skill base. Rev. Joseph Henderson leads The Sons of Ham, discovering the origins and contributions of people of African descent to Biblical history and civilization. Kay Campbell Williams leads the popular Walk Through the Bible Old and New Testament classes, using three learning styles to make events and characters memorable. Christian Education seminars equip students to teach a variety of populations: youth, children, teens, and adults – even engaging parents and volunteers – culminating in a Certificate for those completing 4 of 6 seminars and a class project. All are invited to attend the “New and Renew Event” on Tuesday, January 10. From 5:00-6:00 pm, attendees experience food, fellowship, door prizes, and can have student ID pictures taken. From 6:00- 6:30, orientation occurs for new or interested students. Returning students and alumni experience a special educational presentation. Located near the intersection of I-10 and Capital Circle NW, Tallahassee Christian College and Training Center offers Biblically-based workshops and classes for personal growth, professional development and CEUs, as well as Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biblical Studies. Over 25 years, TCCTC has worked with over 400 area congregations, 42 denominations, 200 faculty members, 3280 students, has offered over 1700 courses, and offers an unparalleled theological library of over 9000 items.
