Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced the addition of Joshua Brian, who joins the firm’s Tallahassee office as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian served as an assistant regional counsel in the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Tallahassee. During his time there, he represented adult and juvenile defendants charged with life felonies, felonies and misdemeanors, and closed more than 1,000 cases through trials, pleas or motion resolution. He also previously served as a graduate legal fellow at the Public Interest Law Center, serving as lead counsel for a Rule 3.850 first-degree murder case.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., and juris doctor from Florida State University College of Law. News of Brian joining the firm is the latest in a series of announcements tied to Broad and Cassel’s growth in Tallahassee and across the state.
