James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to announce Gwyn Johnson and Helen McIver have been certified as Intacct Accounting Partners.
As Intacct Accounting Partners, Johnson and McIver are certified to provide financial guidance to the firm’s outsourced accounting clients using Intacct’s Accountant Edition cloud-based accounting software. Using this software, Johnson and McIver have the ability to collaborate with clients and access real-time information stored in one location in the cloud.
Johnson, a Senior Consultant in the Accounting and Controllership Services department, joined the firm in May 2013. Prior to joining James Moore, Johnson worked as a Controller for eight years at an independent automotive repair service center in Port Orange, Florida. As a Senior Consultant, Johnson is responsible for advanced bookkeeping and accounting services for the firm’s business and non-profit clients.
McIver, a Manager in the Accounting and Controllership Services department, joined the firm in March 2013. Prior to joining James Moore, McIver served for over five years as Director of Financial Services for the City of High Springs, Florida analyzing and preparing financial statements, audit reports, and grant reports, as well as budgeting annual and multi-year capital improvement projects and overseeing bond issuance. As a Manager with the firm, McIver is responsible for implementing financial policies and procedures, reviewing financial statements, and providing consulting services. McIver majored in Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Kennesaw State College.
