VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida, is looking for a strong team player who takes initiative and has a proactive mindset of continuous improvement to fill our International Marketing Coordinator position. You will be assisting the International Marketing team to manage advertising and advertising cooperative programs along with events, trade shows, and internal and external reporting. You will contribute in the following ways:
+Assist in the planning, development and execution of advertising and cooperative advertising programs in target markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, China and India.
+Assist trade marketing team in the development, management and tracking of trade shows, events and in-country agency marketing activities.
+Oversee measurement and tracking process for advertising and trade marketing activities that take place throughout the year.
+Create Florida travel industry communication materials as directed, including the posting of marketing program materials to industry-facing websites, disseminating promotional materials via e-blasts and tracking response.
+Provide support to the communications functions of the department by filing, routing, database entry, calendar maintenance and report generation.
+Build and maintain knowledge of the Florida tourism product, with the ability to speak knowledgably about major attractions, airlift into the state, new hotel openings, etc.
For this position, we prefer 1 – 2 years of experience in a related field along with a Bachelor’s degree. Travel industry experience is a plus.
