Goodwood Jams Music Festival*
Friday, Nov. 8
$50 General Admission
$100 VIP Admission
Guests will gather by BYOS (Bring Your Own Seat) on the front lawn of Goodwood’s Main House for live performances by nationally celebrated act Donna the Buffalo, Tallahassee’s own Tishamingo and funky Dread Clampitt. A variety of food trucks will offer various cuisines and beverages for purchase, and a cash bar will be available. VIP admission includes entry and amenities such as preferred parking, special concert viewing area, VIP open bar and restrooms.
One of the industry’s most diverse roots-music bands, Donna the Buffalo has more than 20 years of feel-good, groove-oriented and danceable music with the classic sound of old-time fiddles. Donna the Buffalo has released a total of nine albums and worked on more than 180 songs.
Fans will enjoy the authentic Southern rock sounds of Goodwood Jams veterans Tishamingo. Originally from Tallahassee, the members of Tishamingo reunite several times a year and are excited to be playing in their hometown.
Dread Clampitt cooks up one-of-a-kind music with a sonic gumbo of influences such as bluegrass, rock & roll, blues, jazz and Louisiana Bayou funk — complete with three-part harmonies and pinch of southern humor thrown in for good measure.
“Goodwood has a long history of unforgettable parties and that tradition was renewed in 2012 with Goodwood Jams,” said Event Chair Stewart Proctor. “We are thrilled to return for our second year with great live music at this amazing venue. The generous Tallahassee community helped us raise $45,000 in 2012, and we have a goal to surpass that in 2013. Goodwood Jams is a perfect fusion of fun and philanthropy.”
