Existing Industry

Local businesses are the backbone of our economy. When businesses succeed, we all succeed, which is why we are reaffirming a commitment to retaining and expanding local companies.

With more than 1,400 members, the Chamber has a direct link to the pulse of the business community. We promote economic growth through building relationships, collecting and reporting data, recognizing trends and maintaining robust channels of communication.

Retention & Expansion

As businesses increase their impact in our local community and in their industry at large, we are proud to assist them with retention and expansion initiatives aimed at maintaining their momentum as they move forward in their life cycle.  Whether it’s increasing staff, adding new products or services, or constructing a new facility headquarters, the Chamber is standing by to assist your company in reaching its full potential.

Site Visits

Each week we are conducting site visits with local industry leaders to learn more about their businesses, what assistance is currently needed and to learn about the development of each industry.

We can direct and assist with a wide variety of financial incentives offered through the City and County. We can help with identifying available buildings and sites in the Capital region.  We also work directly with your company to find the perfect location for your new building on a case-by-case basis.

Industry Roundtables

Based on data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, The Chamber has identified a number of key industries that will serve as a focus for our roundtable discussions.

These sectors include Healthcare, Hospitality, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and Trade-Transportation & Logistics.

Currently, the largest four private sector industries, Professional Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Trade-Transportation & Logistics have been labeled Accelerated Growth Industries, because they are the fastest growing industries in the Tallahassee MSA.
