A Florida charity or association needing a website upgrade will have a chance to get one for free when Digital Opps gives away a $5,000 website to celebrate its sixth anniversary.
Digital Opps, the digital marketing division of long-time Tallahassee-based public relations firm RB Oppenheim Associates (RBOA), is calling it their “Cinco de Digital” initiative.
“We thought we’d celebrate this milestone for Digital Opps by giving something back to one of the non-profit organizations that has given so much to our communities or state,” said Michael Winn, Digital Opps’ chief digital officer. “Though Cinco de Mayo may be past, it will be Cinco de Digital all month, and we’re looking forward to giving a great charity or association something to celebrate.”
Digital Opps was launched on May 5, 2011 – the fifth day of the fifth month – by Winn and RB Oppenheim Associates’ CEO Rick Oppenheim. Since then, the firm has developed 85 websites for local, state and national entities. They decided to celebrate their anniversary by donating a $5,000 website to a local or state not-for-profit group. Non-profit organizations – including charities and associations – interested in being considered should go to rboa.com/web-design-tallahassee-non-profits and complete a short online form by May 31. There is no cost to enter. The selected organization will be announced June 5.
The winning organization will receive a mobile-friendly website, including a digital identity assessment, target audience analysis, a web-content strategy session and construction of the website using a WordPress platform and content management system. It will include tools to encourage user engagement, search-engine optimization (SEO), information hubs, donor contribution section and social media integration.
Founded by Oppenheim in 1985, RBOA is Tallahassee’s oldest continually operating public relations firm and one of Florida’s first integrated marketing communications firms, adding advertising and other marketing services in 1991. The firm entered the digital domain in 2008 by adding social media engagement and management to its client services. Then, under Winn’s leadership, the firm added an array of digital marketing services in 2011, including website design, mobile apps, digital advertising, e-commerce, digital reputation management, SEO and social media integration.
