Bike Share Operations Associate, Zagster

Zagster is the fastest-growing bike share provider in North America. With industry-leading technology and an innovative operations model, our mission is to make the bike the most loved form of transportation.

Join our operations team as an Operations Associate helping Zagster ensure our bike sharing operations run smoothly. Our bike sharing service consists of two major physical components: bikes and stations for parking. Users access our bikes with our mobile app, which allows them to view and unlock available bikes. After a trip, riders return and lock up the bike to one of our bike stations. Rebalancers move bikes from station to station as ridership demands, and back to our operations space for maintenance as needed.

As an Operations Associate, you would be helping the Operations Specialist manage the flow of bikes around “location” by utilizing previous route making and logistics experience to direct rebalancer activity. The Operations Associate is considered a member of the rebalancing team, occasionally creating routes for him/herself to then execute in the field. The Operations Associate helps with all phases of operation, opening/closing our operations headquarters, personnel management, and providing work orders to our mechanics. Be a part of a fast paced, flexible team that is getting more people on bikes in “location.”

-Experience working in an operations environment, specifically in a setting where physical assets that require repair and maintenance are deployed in a field setting
-Experience working alongside a team to ensure rapid mitigation of in-field issues
-Ability and flexibility to work various shifts, as needed in an on-call capacity, including weekends
