On Thursday, October 12th, the Associated Builders and Contractors of North Florida held it’s annual awards dinner. As the association describes the event: “The awards competition serves to raise the level of construction standards throughout the industry by recognizing workmanship of those who contribute and by showcasing the results of their commitment”. EMI was the 2017 recipient of the Excellence in Construction Architectural Award. In addition, two of EMI’s designs won awards: the Florida State University Stadium Renovation won the Eagle Award (over $30 million), as well as the School of Arts and Science won the Eagle Award (Institutional less than $3 million). It was a great night for architects Brad Innes and Seth Coffin, as well as the entire EMI family.
